Teriyaki chicken with jasmine rice and stir-fried pak choi

The rice:

Put rice, water, and a pinch of salt in a pot (2 measures of water for each measure of rice).
Bring to a boil and lower the heat to a minimum.
Simmer covered for 15 minutes or until the rice has absorbed the water.

The chicken:

Fry chicken on both sides until fully cooked; 8-10 minutes per side over medium heat.
Flip the chicken and season with salt and pepper.
When it’s almost done, add the teriyaki sauce and coat the fillets. Set aside.
Variation: Cut chicken in smaller pieces before frying.

The pak choi:

Wash and cut the pak choi into quarters lengthwise.
Heat oil in a frying pan and sauté over medium-high heat until “al dente”.

Your meal:

Serve Teriyaki chicken with jasmine rice, sautéed pak choi, and finish with a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.
