Mise en place:

Chop onion.
Trim the ends of the green beans and cut them in half.
Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. 

Mise en place - Pollo biryani

The stir-fry:

Heat a dash of oil in a pan. Sauté onion with curry for 2 minutes.
Add chicken and sauté for an additional 2 minutes.
Add chicken broth and tomato paste. Stir well.
Season with salt and pepper. 

The rice:

Once the stir-fry is golden, add the rice and mix everything.
Add water (two cups of water for each cup of rice).
Bring to a boil. Once it starts boiling, add green beans and raisins. Reduce the heat to a minimum and let it simmer covered until the rice has absorbed the water; 10-12 minutes.
The chicken should be fully cooked; white, not pink.

Your meal:

Adjust the taste with salt and black pepper.
Serve your Chicken Biryani with yoghurt.
