Wasabi salmon with noodles and broccoli

Wasabi is a spicy seasoning that is extracted from the stem of the wasabi plant which only grows in Japan naturally. It has antiseptic and antibacterial properties. It belongs to the turnip and mustard family.It is used in many dishes in the Japanese cuisine such as sushi and sashimi.

The oven:

Preheat the oven to 200ºC. Heat above and below.

The salmon:

Place the salmon on an oven tray and brush with sesame oil.
Season with salt and pepper.
Bake 8 minutes or until the desired doneness.
Remove from the oven and set aside. 

The broccoli and the noodles:

Cut broccoli into florets and boil for 3 min in lightly salted water. Remove the broccoli with tongs or spoon.
In the same water, boil noodles for about 7-8 minutes. Drain and set aside. 

The sauce:

Mix honey and soy sauce.
Add wasabi and rice vinegar. Stir well. 

Your meal:

Mix the sauce with the noodles. Serve with salmon, broccoli, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top.
